What Santa brought me....

I must say that this past Christmas was a good one, I was able to spend it with my family and my boyfriend and that is always a blessing. As far as gifts go, I was also very blessed, Santa (my boyfriend) got me some REALLY nice and good things. I wanted to take pictures of all the things I got but I was so excited I already have opened and used all the products so I cheated and got pictures from Google :-)

1.) Bare Minerals Ready SPF15 Touch Up Mineral Veil in the color "Tinted"

This was in my stocking and I was so happy and surprised to get this because I only mentioned one time that I wanted it but I never thought he was paying attention.

2. Bare Minerals Original SPF 15 Foundation in "Medium Tan"

This was also in my stocking, I was so impressed that not only did my boyfriend or Santa ;) know my exact color but he knew I was running low. So Sweet and Thoughtful!

3.) Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in "Sin"

The next thing in my stocking was this primer. I was at Ulta with my boyfriend and pointblank told him I wanted this because I have been eyeing it for several months. I'm so happy he got it for me!

4.) Ulta $25.00 Gift card

This was the last thing in my stocking along with some of my favorite candy! I am gonna save it until the Naked Palette2 is available at Ulta. It's been very hard and tempting to save it so I finally just gave it to my boyfriend so that he could save it for me.

5.) Philosphy Super-Siize Fragrance 3 in 1 gel and Lotion Duo in "Amazing Grace"

One of my favorite scents is Philosophy's Amazing Grace and I know I talked about it enough that my boyfriend got me the lotion and gel, which to me is so sweet and thoughtful!

6.) Sex and the City the complete series!

I love this show and I was so ecstatic to receive all the seasons of Sex and the City! I am so happy that I got this and I have to admit I am on the last couple episodes...it just never gets old.

I am very happy with everything that I got, I received other things but I wanted to show you the beauty related ones and the main one (Sex and the City)

Hope you Christmas was just as blessed as mine

Make-Up Haul

I recently had a crazy makeup shopping frenzy. I keep buying makeup and I can't stop myself! I have not purchased this much makeup in a long time but I am very happy with everything that I have bought. Some of these things I needed badly and others I just wanted ;)

Philosophy Amazing Grace and Olay Complete Moisturizer

Philosophy Perfume Amazing Grace: I have had my eye and nose on this perfume for a while now, I will be honest, the name is what got my attention hence the name of this blog :-) But when I tested and smelled all the Grace perfumes this one was my favorite. I am horrible at describing scents but I love this one because its a subtle fresh scent and I love it.

Olay Complete all day UV Moisturizer SPF15 for combination/oily skin: I already have this moisturizer but I have it in the jar and its a pain to use that way, that is why I thought I would get this bottle instead. I have to say this moisturizer is a great one, leaves my face soft and doesn't make me oily. I was on the hunt earlier this month for a different one but I decided to stick with this one since it also has  never broke me out.

Maybelline Colorsensational lipstick and Burt's Bee Lip Balm

Maybelline Colorsensational lipstick in Coral Gleam 730: I love this color! I gave been wanting to try these lipsticks for awhile now and the color I actually wanted was not there so I took a risk and got this color. I got lucky because I just went off on the picture. But it is a gorgeous coral shimmery color, not to bright but it gives my makeup looks that perfect finishing touch.

Burt's Bees Nourishing Lip Balm with Mango Butter: I have always used Cherry Chapstick but one day I decided to give Burt's Bees a try and I fell in LOVE! This was an item I purchased because I needed it, my old lip-balm was out. It leaves my lips soft and smooth and it dose not make them dry later which other lip-balms do.

Tarte LipSurgence natural liptint

Left to Right: Perky, Glitzy, Flashy, Swank, and Dazzled

Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip Tint: DEAL OF THE YEAR!!!! I could not believe the price of these liptints! For all FIVE liptints they cost $29.00!!!! Each one alone cost $24.00. You can do the math! They are great and so pigmented. My favorite now is Glitzy but I love them all! Definitely worth the money!

MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Ambering Rose: I have not been to MAC in a really long time and I wanted to treat myself to some goodies. The girl that helped me at MAC was so nice and super helpful, she help me find all the colors including this blush. It is very bright so a light hand is necessary or you will look like a clown. Gorgeous peach color.

MAC eyeshadows in Phloof, Sumptuous Olive, Saddle, and Satin Taupe: I have been wanting to make myself a palette and when I went I told the girl what I was looking for as far as colors and she helped me. I wanted a dupe to Urban Decay's Virgin so she got me Phloof. I wanted a color outside of my comfort zone(no neutral) and she showed me Sumptuous Olive, I wanted a matte color for my crease and I got Saddle, and Satin Taupe has been on my wishlist for a long time.

I have to admit that I have purchased more products but I had already taken these pictures so expect a second haul :) Thanks for reading!

HAUL: Haute Look: Urban Decay

Hello All! I am so excited because the day after Christmas I ordered 2 things from a website called Haute Look, where they were selling everything Urban Decay for $2!!! You heard correctly two bucks! It was only for a limited time so I went on and found 2 things I really liked.

Haute Look is a website where they have sales and deals on makeup, jewelry, and other things for really good prices. It is free to sign up and you do have to pay shipping and handling. My ONLY complaint about ordering from Haute Look is that it took a long time for the items to be shipped. I ordered I believe the day after Christmas and the order was delivered on January 4, 2011 and arrived today January 6, 2011. But the order came and now I am sooooooooo happy!

I ordered two loose pigments from Urban Decay in the colors Shag and Smog. They are 2 gorgeous very highly pigmented colors. This is the first time me using loose powder for eyes.

No Flash: Urban Decay Primer Potion underneath colors
Top Shag and bottom Smog

The color Smog is this dark brown almost gold color that can be used for a base or crease color. It is also a color that is in the famous Naked Palette that everyone has raved about and trying to get there hands on.

With Flash: Urban Decay Primer Potion under colors
Top Shag and bottom Smog.

The color Shag is this sort of bronze, pink color, it reminds me of All that Glitters from MAC.

I am so far happy with this purchase, the retail price of these loose pigments is $20.00 dollars and for me to get them for $2 dollars each makes me very happy!

Check out Haute Look its really a great website with great deals!

Makeup Haul: Wet N' Wild, NYX, OPI, & Essie

Hello! I'm so excited about this post because I have been wanting to post it as soon as I purchased all of these items! I purchased all these items in this past week, at a Beauty Supply store, Rite Aide and my new obsession...ULTA.

I have heard people rave and talk about an eyeshadow from the drugstore brand Wet N' Wild called Nutty. And I thought it was Nutty that I had never heard about it before. I was at my local Rite Aide, and as always I go through the makeup aisles to see if they have any good deals, and I noticed that Wet N' Wild was 40% off! To start off the brand is very cheap and I couldn't resist so I got the Nutty. I loved it so much that I went back the next day and purchased more eyeshadows plus 2 cream eyeshadow pencils.

I will start with the eyshadows...

From Left to Right: Sugar, Nutty, Penny, Kitten, and Envy

I am so surprised with the quality of these eyeshadows. The colors are so rich, bright, highly pigmented, and just really good! For a drugstore brand this is a great deal! The price is $1.99 and I got them 40% off. Highly recommend you go out and purchase these eyeshadows! They are great colors and good price!

Here are some swatches...

Same order as above: Sugar, Nutty, Penny, Kitten, and Envy

Next are the cream shadow pencils:

Top: Envy
Bottom: Techno
I like to use base colors over eyeshadows and since I was going to purchase the eyeshadow colors Envy and Kitten I figured I needed base colors for them. They are really bright, rich, and smooth. So far I like them. The glide on nicely. I am very pleased with this purchase. :)

I have been to Ulta before, back where I used to live, but I recently went to the Ulta at West Hollywood and I fell in love! They has great costumer service, and I was so surprised with the variety of brands and beauty products. I wanted to go check out NYX. I have heard great things about this drugstore brand so I had to see for myself. I purchased 2 jumbo eye pencils in the colors Pure Gold and French Fries

The colors are honestly super gorgeous. I already wore French Fries and its so rich and dark. I can't wait to wear Pure Gold! They last all day and they also glide on nicely.

Here are the swatches...

I also purchased a nailpolish at Ulta. It is the brand Essie in the color Shifting Power. A gorgeous gold color

My last purchase came from a local beauty supply store where they sold OPI nailpolishes. I went in to see if they had any glitter colors left from the OPI holiday Burlesque collection. They did not have the actual color I wanted (Bring on the Bling) but I found and bought this one instead...

OPI: Sparkle-icious
It is a purple, gold, and hints of blue glittery color. I LOVE it! Favorite glitter color so far! Here is the end result...
I watch a girl on YOUTUBE named Lorraine, she does a day in the life videos and also has a beauty channel...anyways she always paints her nails with one accent nail and I used these 2 colors to make my own

That is my haul! I hope you enjoyed it. I recommend everything I purchase especially the Wet N Wild eyeshadows which are on sale now!

Haul: H&M, Forever21, and Macy's

*WARNING: A lot of pictures in this post*
Hello! I have neglected my poor little blog so today I decided to give it some TLC.
Christmas is almost here, so its time for X-mas parties, dinners, and festivities. I will be attending my boyfriends work X-mas party and I needed to find something to wear. So I went over to the Beverly Center here is Los Angeles. First, I went to my favorite store H&M.

I am SUPER indecisive and it took me a long time to finally find what to wear. I found something simple but classic a LBD or a Little Black Dress. You can never go wrong with a LBD. It ties on the back and it just fits me really nicely.

Next I needed shoes...I am not a big shoe freak like some girls. I'm more of a Bag Gal. I went to Forever21 and sound there really cute silk type, peep toe, black, high heel shoes. But they didn't have my size :( Womp Womp. But at H&M I found a pair of black, suede shoes that sorta looked the ones from Forever21. Plus they were $25 so I got them :)

I love the jewelry at both H&M and Forever21. The jewelry is good quality, its very inexpensive, and super fashionable. There is a store called Love21 that is pretty much the accessory store of Forever21 and they sell shoes, bags, jewelry etc. I purchased the next goodies at Love21

headband

compact bejeweled mirror

As I was getting ready to check out I noticed an eye palette. I remember hearing some girls talk about the makeup of Forever21 on YouTube, mainly how surprisingly good quality it was. I found this pallet and got it too.

I will try and do swatches and a review soon but so far so good. I tried some colors out and they seemed nice and for 10 bucks also well worth it.

I also purchased some jewelry at H&M. I got a set of 6 rings all for the price of $5.95.
It has one ring that says "Love" and it reminded me of the Love ring that Lorraine, from YouTube, wears on her day in the life videos.

I also got a simple bracelet that has wings. Simple, and classic.

If you read one of my first posts you will know that my boyfriend and I are HUGE Disney fans especially Mickey Mouse fans. Our bathroom is Mickey Mouse and so is our tiny office. I saw this next item at H&M and had to get it for my boyfriend.

Now all I needed was a nice, simple necklace and a cute clutch/wristlet. So I went over to my local Macy's today and saw that a BIG sale was going on and if you used your Macy's card(which I have one) you would get extra % off. I found this next item and I almost died when I saw it was on sale!

Michael Kors wristlet

Back

I love that it has so many little compartments, and it can be worn as a wristlet or a purse. Plus its Michael freaking Kors my favorite designer!!!!! It was originally $58.00 and the final price was..."drum roll please!"
$32.48!!!! Really great deal. I was very pleased with this purchase.

And last but not least was this necklace
Original price was $18.00 and I got it for $10.71. I love great deals.

So that was my haul, I am all ready for the party. Thank you so much for reading xoxo
