Disneyland 'What to Wear' guide

Something about me you will soon find out is that I love Disneyland. I was born and raised in southern California, and the first time I attended Mickey's home was when I was 3 years old. I have attended the happiest place on earth every year at least once a year since...so not only do I love this place I know a few things to make your trip easier and COMFORTABLE.

I will be using this word A LOT "COMFORTABLE"...comfort is key when attending Disneyland or any theme park. Regardless of what season or time of the year you attend wearing clothes and shoes that fit is key. If your shirt is too tight or your shoes are new and give you blisters you will be miserable and it will be no bueno or no good. :(

Fall/Winter:
Southern California is known for it hot sunny days but in the cold seasons it can get a bit chilly. I suggest to wear pants, preferably your favorite most
COMFORTABLE jeans, a simple T-shirt and a nice warm sweater.

As far as shoes I suggest warm COMFORTABLE boots or some sneakers. I am a fan of UGG boots. I know that these boots are hit or miss with some people. I wore some last year when I attended Disneyland in December and my feet were very warm and happy :) They have wool inside which make your feet feel like they are walking on clouds.

Spring/Summer:
I admit, I am a Jeans and T-shirt kinda gal. And when I go to Disneyland my outfit consist of:
 1.)My favorite jeans
 2.)A cute Mickey/Minnie shirt
 3.)My favorite Coach sneakers

Three important C's you should follow when going to Disneyland. Cute, COMFORTABLE, and casual. That is why I wear the above outfit all the time I just switch up the shirts. By the way those shirts are my absolute favorite. I bought the Minnie Mouse one at H&M and the Mickey shirt at Disneyland. I have others  that I have purchased at Forever 21 and other stores. Mickey shirts are not so simple and plain anymore they make them cute and girly now.

Also even though its spring or summer always take a light sweater or jacket, night can get sort of cold.
Bag:
I have seen girls take the large totes or carryalls to Disneyland, and I myself have been guilty of this in the past. But I have learned...

Again COMFORT is key and I found that taking a swingpack or a small messenger bag is the best thing ever.

I love these Coach Swingpacks they are cute, small and actually let you carry several things.
Or if you really wanna make it better simply taking a wristlet, it will be an easier option

You don't need to take everything but the kitchen sink. A small bag or purse is all you need with money, your tickets, I.D maybe a small compact and chapstick. The times I took a large bag my shoulders hurt so bad and I just hated carrying around unnecessary things.

I also suggest in renting a locker. They help so much in relieving what you bring or buy and not having to worry about carrying bags or losing things.

Accessories:
Summer/Spring: Sunglasses and suncreen are imprtant to protect your eyes and skin from those UVAs. Also  hair bands or hair clips if you get too hot and want to pull your hair in a pony tail.

Winter/Fall: Scarves and gloves are a good idea especially at night.

The most important tip when going to Disneyland or any theme park is to have fun and just enjoy yourself. Go on rides, shop, eat, and just forget about every day problems. I have always understood why Disneyland is called the Happiest Place on Earth because it just makes me feel happy...but I do have to admit by the end of the night I do feel like Mickey kicked my butt :)

BUT its all worth it!

So go and HAVE FUN!!
